PremiSys Wi-Q - Setup and Usage of Programmer Mode

Programmer Mode

A cardholder with Programmer authority is always allowed access to a reader regardless of the current operating mode. In addition to unlocking a “locked” door, a Programmer can perform a motor test or various reset operations. Once their credential has been presented to a lock and it has cycled, the following keys can be used to perform the programmer functions:

Click below for Programmer mode setup.

Programmer mode Setup
1. Programmer Mode requires creating a User Level and the Name field needs to have the value of “2”

2. In PremiSys go to Tasks - Hardware Configuration - Access Settings Tab - Right-click the User Level(s) folder. Select Add User Level.

3. Add the Name as "2" as shown in the image below. Click Ok to close the window.

4. Open a cardholder record on whom you would like to set up as a Programmer mode card. Once the record is open, click on the card configuration at the bottom. Right-click the card number and select Edit Card.

5. The Card Properties window opens, Click the User Levels Tab. A Programmer Mode Card requires the above user level to be assigned to Slot 6.

6. Click OK and Save the Record.
***Please note the programmer card must be part of an access group that includes the WI-Q doors.***

Once their credential has been presented to a lock and it has cycled, the following keys can be used to change the lock’s operating mode:
