1. What is PremiSys Mobile? PDC IDenticard’s PremiSys Mobile App gives system users the freedom to remotely manage daily security activities. The PremiSys Mobile App runs on a mobile phone or tablet and is an invaluable tool for running your facility’s security system. Click here for Moblie App Brochure.

2. Where do I get the mobile app? Depending on your device you will install the app from the Apple Store or the Google Play store. Simply search on either IDenticard or PremiSys. The PremiSys mobile app is free to download, you will have to license it if you want to use the app with your system. Click here for the Mobile App Download.

3. What are the part numbers for the Mobile App License? You can purchase licenses in increments of one license or a 10 pack of licenses. PREM-MOBILE1 = 1 License PREM-MOBILE10 = 10 Licenses

4. How do I license the mobile app? Licensing the mobile app is as simple as adding additional mobile client licenses to your system. Once your order is placed you will receive written instructions on how to obtain and upgrade your system licensing. Click here for instructions to license the Mobile App

5. Is Mobile licensing concurrent or per device? Mobile licenses are licensed per device. Each device is assigned a license.

6. What licenses are used when using the mobile app? The mobile app will only use a mobile app license. The PremiSys or PremiSys ID licenses are not used while using the mobile application.

7. Can I create an LDAP user to login to the mobile app? No, the mobile app does not support LDAP logins. You will have to create a PremiSys user account in order to use the mobile app.

8. What devices are supported? The PremiSys Mobile App is compatible with Apple ® iPhone ® *, iPad ®, and Android™*Smartphone. Available for iOS7 and Android 4 and greater. Because of the vast number of Android devices available we have not tested them all. There may be slight variations with the GUI per Android device. Fonts may appear different or buttons may be out of aspect ratio. However, the general functionality of the device should not be impacted.

9. Can PremiSys Mobile see live transactions? No, you would have to use a full PremiSys client to see live transactions.

10. Does the app time out or disconnect automatically if you browse to another app? The app logs out and you will need to enter your password or PIN when opening the app again. This is for security so someone else can't pick up your device and get into your system.

11. Is there any way to restrict which features of the mobile app the system user can do? Yes, You can restrict mobile app user permissions in the user group, within the Security Administration section of PremiSys.

12. Are existing hardware filters still in effect for mobile app users? Yes, hardware filtering is still in effect on the mobile app.

13. What card will print when I print from the mobile app, how does it handle badge logic? When a mobile user prints a badge the mobile app sends the print command to the server. The server decides which badge to print based on system badge logic. The operator will need to select which printer to send the badge to. The print manager where the printer is connected must be running for the badge to print.

14. Can I remove the license from a device? Yes, through the PremiSys Manage Mobile Devices you may revoke a license from a device.
