To ensure optimal emergency preparedness, the PremiSys™ system offers a set of specialized security states known as lockout and lockdown. These states can be activated to secure buildings swiftly and effectively. In order to facilitate the configuration process, designated areas within the building are established. The software user has the ability to create groups of PremiSys doors, such as all exterior perimeter doors leading into a specific building. Additionally, customized card access groups can be configured to allow lockdown override access. This allows door access exclusively for emergency response team cardholders during a lockdown situation.
If you find yourself needing multiple lockdown configurations within the same building, there is an alternative method available apart from the standard lockdown feature. By utilizing triggers and procedures, you can effectively set up different lockdowns to meet your specific requirements.
